Yes the house with the Rose garden was just gorgeous...haha shysal..I thought her hair suited her very bohemian look!!

gillybob... not sure about him, don’t know why, perhaps he lays on the sweetness and light too mich?

It is interesting to see behind the scenes isn’t it?
I saw Doc Martin being filmed many moons ago, only him getting out of a car but they took best part of a day filming it over and over. Must be boring being on telly sometimes!!

I once saw Joe Swift recording a piece at Tatton Park. He fluffed his lines a few times and some poor assistant didn’t half get it in the neck. Put me right off him . Was quite funny watching it back on TV seeing him all sweetness and light .

I love the intro to the program....all green gardens and bird song, then monty speaks to camera as if it’s directly to us!
Well orchestrated!

It was a lovely programme last night.
I thought Joe Swift's garden was beautiful, and now want him to come and organise my, jmuch tinier , borders.
I live in hopes.

I really love roses ( fave flower) but they do need a lot of care and only bare stems to look at in Winter.
The garden on tv ( roses) was magical but the upkeep would be too great for me.

I love roses but I don't love all the dead heading.

The effect gardening has on mental wellbeing cannot be overestimated. Lovely episode.

It certainly was a good programme. I also loved the rose garden. I’m busy building up my own rose collection, looking for more places to put them.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm more of a Beechgrove fan myself as Gardener's World tends to give me garden envy as Monty Don's garden is bigger than my nearest park! Also back in the old days Gardener's World gave the name of every plant that they featured or filmed and often those details are just missed these days.

Her garden looked glorious I thought. I loved the colour mixes. She’s got a good eye.

I haven’t watched it properly yet as it was on with the sound off as I was busy doing something that needed concentration.

shall watch it later today.

Yes, I thought the programme was well done, and Monty the perfect host. However, I did want to take a hairbrush to the rose lady smile! I loved the fact that she doesn't know the names of the roses and doesn't care, she just loves them!

Yes I did too farview what a lovely garden ( and house) that lady with the roses had . You couldn’t help but have a feeling of wellbeing living there could you?

I do love Monty ? ?
