Late Trees?

If our daffodils come out by 1st March (St David's Day) it's an indication that spring is on track.

They did this year and some bushes and trees are starting to bud now.
Mid February for the daffodils is early and more of a worry.

Elder growing through one of our rowan trees has burst its buds. Nothing else though. That's normal in our part of Scotland though..

Other things are late this year, even daffodils.

Up here in the north, my magnolia is doing well and (I think!) right on schedule. Nothing on apples yet though.
