What’s eating my geraniums

I have had several varieties of geranium in a bed in my garden for years but this year for the first time I find one of my plants has been destroyed by what looks like a tiny bright green “caterpillar”. I have researched the problem but not coming up with anything other than “try picking them off at dusk”. Really - who has or wants to make the time for this.

Any quick remedies before my whole bed is destroyed.

Assuming you are talking about perennial cranesbill, properly called geranium then it might be the geranium sawfly. I don't know how to treat it but I am sure you could Google to find out.
Good luck.

I found one of those green caterpillar type creatures on one of my geranium plants this morning. It was enveloped within one of the leaves, but that leaf and others had been munched. Not sure what it is, but I removed it. It wasn’t on a perennial cranesbill pelargonium, but on an annual geranium.

Try spraying with Rose Clear.
