Snow drops always cheer me up.
The start of fresh new beginnings?

The winter jasmine is still flowering politically

And the snowdrops.

I guess you meant prolifically smile - or maybe not? Tory, Labour, Lib Dem? The yellow colour’s a guide I guess grin

🤣🤣🤣

I think autocorrect had other ideas!

The winter jasmine is fading a bit now, rather like the Lib Dems ☹

Not far from you I’m just resigned Whitewave. I principally grow veg and another couple of weeks is ok, they’ll catch up. I’ve jumped the gun before, it ends in tears!

Yes that’s a lesson I’ve learned - every5hing catches up in the end. But I am also neglecting cutting back and pruning etc. which could be done, but I hate the cold.

Still frosty down south and sleet forecast next week!

Yes I am getting cheesed off now. I can’t stand the cold weather and my poor garden is totally neglected.

Lots of hellebores, looking fab. Nature is amazing, dwarf echinacea in veg trugs, full of water and then frozen solid, they are showing signs of life. I never expected that. Fruit buds and roses are all awakening

Sarah75 Thu 02-Mar-23 13:08:13

Lots of crocuses out, primroses and tete a tete daffodils

henetha Thu 23-Feb-23 23:15:35

Suddenly there are daffodils everywhere including my garden.
And little grape hyacinths. And my camellias are beautiful right now

Norah Thu 23-Feb-23 23:12:44

We have daffodils. Albeit very well protected, warm side.

Crocus and daffodils popping out all over here.

Callistemon21 Mon 20-Feb-23 22:38:58

leucojums
I had to Google them, I've never heard of them.

The daffodils are budding 🤞 they will be open on 1st March.
Purple crocuses are flowering in the lawn but all the yellow ones disappeared a couple of years ago.

Fleurpepper Mon 20-Feb-23 20:40:30

From one week to this one, all changed. Yellow aconites out and snow drops and leucojums out.

I spotted these this morning while out with my dog, lovely to see some sunshine & signs of spring.

peli Tue 07-Feb-23 18:31:15

A few of these have emerged in a tub
in a v sheltered spot near my kitchen door - yellow, pink & white, & all w/ a lovely scent! (I'm in the South.)

The flooded fields have drained, the heavy frosts have lifted(here) and the weatherman says it's going to be warm ish for the next week, so has this pushed anyones Snowdrops into flower?
I would love to see your photossmile

Callistemon21 Wed 18-Jan-23 15:11:28

The snowdrops are coming up although still small and the flowers aren't open.

And it snowed here last night.

Greyduster Wed 18-Jan-23 14:39:37

I have bulbs coming up in tubs and the front bed, and the first signs of snakeshead fritillaries, hellebores and grape hyacinths poking through on the rockery. Winter heathers are about the only thing providing colour at the moment. Lots of buds on the clematis too. Never had any luck with snowdrops, sadly.

Oreo Wed 18-Jan-23 14:31:02

Nothing at all here, the snowdrops not showingsad and only tips of other Spring bulbs poking up so far.
