Does anyone know what this plant is? It’s in our garden but we do have some growing wild on the land around. I was totally unsuccessful when I tried to transplant some more a few years ago.
It disappears completely in the winter but has always come back eventually in the spring.
It’s nothing do do with the Lantana next to it which I need to prune a bit harder soon.
Is it a white Salvia?

Yes, it could be a Camassia. Mine are blue, but there are white ones.
Thank you everyone, I thought you’d nailed it Sarah although I’ve never seen a blue one, that would be so different and beautiful, I like blue flowers.
Then I had another look at a photograph of what I’ve been wondering about, an Asphodel. That looks far more like it to me ?

, the plant is very small and delicate looking especially next to the Lantana bush. I shouldn’t have been lazy and instead of taking the photograph from above and enlarging it, I should have walked down to the level it is on and squatted down. Not sure I would have been able to get up again though. 😁
A completely different subject, I never know which emojis to go for, as I don’t really like the GN ones but I know not everyone can see the other ones.
