Can anyone tell me what this plant is?

Thank you everyone, I thought you’d nailed it Sarah although I’ve never seen a blue one, that would be so different and beautiful, I like blue flowers.

Then I had another look at a photograph of what I’ve been wondering about, an Asphodel. That looks far more like it to me ?

Marydoll , the plant is very small and delicate looking especially next to the Lantana bush. I shouldn’t have been lazy and instead of taking the photograph from above and enlarging it, I should have walked down to the level it is on and squatted down. Not sure I would have been able to get up again though. 😁

Yes, it could be a Camassia. Mine are blue, but there are white ones.
