Does anyone know what this is please? I didn’t plant it in my garden. Although it’s roots creep underground it doesn’t seem to want to go back next door.

It looks like Spirea salicifolia, it tends to do well in coastal areas.

Thank you J52. For some reason I had got it into my head it was Spirea but now that my other Spirea is out in flower and is nothing like this one I thought I must be wrong.

It’s pretty, and if it’s as popular as my spiraea is with the bees, I’d keep it.
