It’s very sad, isn’t it? I remember Nell as a puppy, fussing around Nigel, who seemed to put up with her exuberance really well. They’ll be romping around in doggy heaven now, no doubt. I bet Ned will miss her, too, as I imagine she missed Nigel when he died.

We’re coming to the end of the series for this year which always makes me sad and Becky, one of the lovely sisters with Down’s syndrome, who often feature on the programme, has also died.

Such sad news, I always enjoy watching what the dogs are getting up to, they always seem well trained ( with the odd naughty moment), also the cats that some of the other presenters have. So sorry to hear that Becky has passed away, I had not heard that either, may she rest in peace. Thank you Joseann for letting us know.

Is that right? I can’t find it anywhere. One of his two miniature dachshunds called Brenda died recently and Monty missed Gardener’s World for a week. The Dachshunds never appeared on the programme.

There is a picture on Insta last week or so with his other Dog Peggy she's 13.. Its all 4 dogs such a lovely picture

Bless Nells paws she came across as a lovely gentle Dog.
