Outside my home are stark red brick walls about 4 feet high. Behind them is a flat area of grass - the wall is retaining this "lawn." I want to soften the walls and have planted an ivy which has got quite big but does not want to trail - it wants to grow upwards!
Can anyone suggest a suitable trailing plant that would cover the walls all year round?
