Peanut feeder not been touched 🤷‍♀️

This peanut feeder has been out for a week and as far as I can see the birds have not touched it.
I also have a bird table that has suet pellets and mealworms on and another feeder as you can probably see with sunflower hearts.
I know birds are naturally suspicious. I just wondered why it’s been so long and why they are showing no interest in it.

The peanuts here go like snow off a dyke. Blue tits and Great tits love them as do the sparrows. We even have woodpeckers visiting daily, they love them too. DH buys bird seed in large bags and fills the feeders up in the morning, by evening they are almost empty.

Goldfinches eating us out of house and home in Niger seeds! We’ve even had to buy a bigger feeder. Tits love the peanuts. Parents are wise enough not to feed their young on peanuts. RSPB advise to keep feeding throughout the year.

Have you tried moving the feeder a bit? Sometimes we can put the feeders just in the wrong place for small birds safety.
