Some time ago I bought a Persicaria Red Devil, I was a bit put out when it was really just a root with a few leaves. Now a couple of years later, I have divided it into two plants for myself, given a plant to my son and another to a friend.
It’s great when plants multiply.

Same as Crocosmia WWM2. Spent a lot on Lucifer a while back and now have several plants from moving spare corms. The other one is Erigeron which has spread all over the garden ( easy to rip out fortunately) but costs a lot to buy.

My other bugbear is the online plants companies which charge a fortune for small plants especially bedding, which you can go to your local nursery and buy for a fraction of the price and they tend to be better quality.

About 3 years ago I purchased 2 giant colchicums which have flowered dependably year after year.

Today I have been digging over the bed in order to replant - (changing the colour scheme )

I have dug up about a dozen huge bulbs which I have planted elsewhere.

I looked up the planting depth and noticed the price. £6.99 each😮😮. I think I will go into business! They are the easiest of bulbs - I can’t think why they are so expensive.
