I throw spare seeds into random pots, the seem to germinate well. When they’re in bud I pop them among the flower beds.
Sometimes they do better than the cared for ones.

Resealing the packets is tricky too, I now use paper clips.

I once saved the seeds from a parsnip. First the plant itself was amazing and grew taller than me. There must have been thousands of seeds.

I see I have 250 Brussels sprout seeds in my new packet.

I do exchange with my son but 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I bought a packet of antirrhinam seeds last year, when I opened them I thought the packet was empty...the I saw some tiny seeds in the corner...11 seeds..

Sowing seeds can be quite hard work but very rewarding. However the amount of seeds in packets is ridiculous. The temptation is to use them all but normally loads are wasted.

I think I should frame the seed packets and forget about trying to grow them. They look so pretty in the pictures.
The instructions always begin with sow in a prepared seed bed.

Who has this prepared seed bed?
This isn't a cry for help just an observation.
