If you can - don't forget to deadhead your daffodils so that they don't become blind .
I've done mine and had a go at the ones in our churchyard .

To my knowledge, deadheading has no role in blind daffodils. It’s all about leaving the foliage for at least 8 weeks after flowering. Dead heading is good, but not for that reason.

I deadheaded all those in my window boxes. Those in the bank outside will have to sort themselves out as I just don’t have time right now and there are hundreds of them.

I always remove the bulb head as soon as the petals begin to wilt. Never tie the leaves as some do.

My SIL gave me a bagful of bulbs being thrown out by the commercial growers nearly 40 years ago and about half of them still give me a lovely display without any feeding or help at all.

I do eventually manage to deadhead daffodils and tulips but very late.
This year the front garden is a carpet of red tulips, really garish, as a result of self seeding.

What to do with many flower pots with the daffs in. I can’t leave them as I want to fill my pots with summer plants. Where shall I put the daffs.?
I have a tiny garden so my pots are important.

Once the foliage has died the bulbs will be dormant. You could either dig them out and store them to replant in the autumn or just overplant them.

I have just had some very late for us down South really delicate , small white triandras (I think) come into flower. I don’t remember planting them and haven’t a clue to their name. But they are beautiful.

But get some more of those.
