How much does a gardener cost?

Neither my OH or myself are fit to do gardening now, and we're thinking of geting someone to ...mow the lawn and strim the edges, do some weeding at the sides where we have planted bushes and put bark along the sides to keep the weeds away, I have bought the bark already.

Gwyllt sadly my hard worker gardener told me yesterday he is leaving. His gf isn’t happy here so they are moving to where she comes from miles away. I now have to find someone else which isn’t going to be easy for my large garden. I’ve had the problem in the past finding someone.
