RSPB advice is not to feed the birds May - October, perhaps the birds know that 🙂

JaneJudge

You know I never thought about how the title would come across. I was thinking of the song. I was honestly just thinking about bird fat balls.

I apologise in advance for any upset caused

You read my mind 😁

Husband just buys fat balls anywhere that seems cheap. Never noticed any difference. Mind you there is no competition from other houses around

Seriously

Sainsburys had peckish feeders and fat balls on a nectar special last week which I put on my feeder

My feeder isn’t visited that often

In the space of a week it had all gone (and I’m not replacing the seed) but there were birds fighting over it.

I replaced the peckish fat balls with a good quality non peckish brand

Nothing in days. Maybe the occasional blue tit.

This is not an advertisement. It’s gone from a feeding frenzy to nothing 😂
