Help in the garden

Some of you will know I broke my back some years ago (pre covid). It has healed but left me in a lot of pain and I've become very frail and need help with my garden. I'm 87.
I have someone coming to look at the garden today and give me an estimate for maintaining it.
My husband (a reluctant gardener) mows the lawn but everything else is neglected as I haven't been able to do much more than pull a few weeds and deadhead a few roses.
Do I ask for a one-off 'spring clean' or suggest a once-a-month visit and get them to tidy up gradually?
I'm in Cumbria and wondered if anyone had any idea how much I should expect to pay.

My gardener charged £25/hr. How often depends on the size of your garden, I think. If someone gets it under control will you be able to manage after that? If not, regular visits may be needed. Simplifying it may help, too, getting rid of fussy plants etc.
