My father is 95 and would love to be remembered as the last surviving member of air crew from the Second World War. I've been trying to find out what age this might be and wondered if anyone could help?

Five of The Few were still alive in August this year.

I'd approach the RAF, they may well have figures.

Grannyjaq1 you must be so proud of your father.
I suggest you join this forum and ask your question:

There are many helpful people on there, and your kind of question is often asked. There's a separate section for surviving veterans,
My father was in the RNVR in WW2 .He died in 1991 aged 84.
