I don’t know, sorry, but the clothworkers company has a website and a large online archive. I’m sure they’d be able to answer your question.

Do any of you Grans know if, in the 1700s (or at any time), the Clothworkers Company in London admitted carpenters as members? I ask this because an ancestor of mine appears to have been both a carpenter and a member of the Clothworkers' Company! Puzzled....
