Just like all those daft princesses who found themselves in fixes and had to spin straw in tower attics all night (except I don't think any of them were old enough to blame it on a menopausal blip! ), I've spent the whole night working on that silk purse — in my sleep, alongside the bees who are having nightmares about being stuck in a chimney. There's just no way I could get it to come out anything but Baggy!

ooo this is nice I haven't been here before. Its a bit early and a bit chilly today. off to see my younhest daughetr and sister for a girly lunch at Jamie's in Cambridge. husband coming as I felt sorry for him - he said 'I havnet been to Jamie's so its girlies and an honorary girl.

Silk purses are beautiful! I've made a pig's ear out of many things I've attempted over the years, but usually managed to convert them into a silk purse in the end!

Have gone to shed, have tired myself out, with chat,nobody seems to have been here for a couple of days, it's very quiet. A few cobwebs, but have done housework for the day, want to blob out before friends come to supper. Don't suppose the Grandads would like interfering granny cleaning up anyway. Where have all the Grandads gone? I've found an old pipe in corner, a secret smoker maybe? Have brought in with me, that's lovely
