Where are you Gramps?

Some time ago I read a wise post by a grandad called Gramps I have been looking for him to read more posts but he isn't even in the shed eating cake.

Where have all the grandads gone? Has the shed been demolished? Is there a grandadnet somewhere else ? I'm sure there must be a perfectly good explanation that predates my arrival on GN .Can anyone let. me in to the secret??
