Both my grandchildren were 2 weeks over the due date and were almost on the point of being induced before they eventually arrived. The newest, a little boy is only 16 weeks old now and I can well remember how anxious the wait was. Each hour seemed like a day and we were so on edge all the time. But when they did arrive the joy more than made up for the anxiety. I wish you, your daughter and granddaughter every happiness as you start this new adventure together. Look forward to hearing some good news!
Thanks all for your posts, congrats absent on your new arrival.
We are STILL waiting!!!! Not even a twinge yet! Baby is still moving well so no need for worrying I am told. Every day I am thinking, "It MUST be today, surely", but then it isn't!
Hi Syberia hang on in there. Absentdaughter's due date was 21 March, but the boy did not put in an appearance until yesteray, Saturday 31. But he was was worth waiting for. Hope you have good news soon.
Syberia, those extra days do drag so very much. I was in your position six months ago almost to the day, we all thought she would never arrive (12days late in the end - but in truth all those calculations are only simple maths and biology is so much more complex). She will arrive in her own sweet time and you will have the most wonderful time getting to know her. Lots of love to you and yours XX.
Hi everyone. DD's due date was 26th. There is no sign of little Violet yet. I know it's not that far over, but I can't sleep and have no nails left! (that's a good thing, because no danger of scratching her once she is here!!)
