Adopt grandparents

Hi, I would like to adopt grandparents (or a granny) for my 16months old daughter. I am not looking for a babysitter or a childminder but simply for grandparents who would like to spend some time with my girl and with us as a family. We live in Basildon.

I suspect you would need to do checks before committing yourself to this, however ultra-PC and suspicious that sounds - you would never forgive yourself if it went wrong, and it is only fair to the adoptive grandparents to make certain that they are not exploited.

Thanks Dollie, on netmums are actually many mums looking for grandparents. In Germany are in some cities charities bringing families and grandparents together.
