..a grandaughter. A much longed for grandaughter. The baby that was never going to be. I haven't mentioned this before because I was so worried that it would be tempting fate to do so. Two weeks late [which made me think that it would be a boy; not that it would have mattered]. I am a wreck; but a very happy wreck!!!!

I didn't dare hope for a grandaughter [two grandsons thus far] and I'm such a pessimistic worrier that I didn't dare say anything on here in case it tempted fate. Baby was very late and I was getting more and more worried so I can't begin to say how relieved I am now. Hopefully going to see her later today [still can't believe I'm saying 'her']. Is it just me but, ever since I heard about this pregnancy I've been very tearful and hormonal [hormones having been absent for many a year]?
