Here I am, up at the crack of dawn to take my DD in for an elective c-section. She has to report at 7.15 (along with at least two other ladies that she met at the pre-op on Thursday). So we don't know what time she'll be meeting her little one, but hopefully sooner today rather than later.
I will keep you posted. SO EXCITED!!! grin

She`s beautiful!

Lovely! in 8 weeks time she will be grinning at you. I saw my DGS2 a fortnight ago when he was 6 weeks and he was just about smiling. Now at 8 weeks he is suddenly much more wide awake and "sociallising" by smiling and copying facial expressions etc. They just grow so quickly. Enjoy.

Well done AshTree for supporting her and huge congratulations on this little bundle of joy. I love the names too. I've only just read the news as I'm busy being on holiday. But isn't wifi great! Have lots of fun with indigo.

Oh Nelliem that first smile, the first recognition - we have so much to look forward to. And you have such a little GC too, congrats! I hope you get to see him as regularly as I know I will this little one.

I'm pleased to see the positive reaction to her first name - Indigo was a very last minute change from Jemimah, which had been decided on quite a while ago! She did wonder if it was a bit too unusual, but said that when a child has an unusual name it can be good for them because they have to 'live up to it'.

Congratulations to you and your DD. I have just picked up my tablet, what a beautiful little girl. Very individual names, I like that, my own DGC all have unusual, interesting names too.
