I'm reminded of something that happened in the eighties. A friend gave birth to a girl and the midwife asked what she would name her. My friend said "Kirstie". The midwife paused then said "well you better give her a second name in case she doesn't like Kirstie". She obviously didn't like the name!

And DS was going to be Adam until a friend of mine had her Adam days before. He ended up being called after the main character in the book I was reading at the time, and I still love the name.
