Any God will do.....my precious grandson

Thank you all so, so, so much for your kind, loving thoughts and prayers for my precious little grandson. He's had another lot of blood tests today, X-ray etc.....they are testing him for everything including TB of lymph nodes. They have been on holiday to Mediterranean and North African countries. Besides, he is of mixed heritage - his Daddy (my son) is Indian with Portuguese background - his mum is Welsh - we're a real cosmopoitanfamily?
I saw him this evening ...he is absolutely fine in himself, cheeky as ever but so loving ? Thankyou again. I will keep you posted xx

Thanks for the update. He sounds like a wonderful little boy. It’s good that he’s being tested and things are progressing, so much has been delayed with this b****y Covid.

Everything crossed that if it turns out to be something that it is eminently treatable.

I'm so glad that you were able to see your wee grandson in hospital, Crazy H, that must have reassured you so much.

He's in the best place, where they can really get to the bottom of this and get him on the road to recovery.

Granmarie, he went to Hospital just to have bloods and X-ray taken, pre-op. He hasn't had a date yet, for the operation. The sooner, the better....it's the waiting .. Thankyou all so much. xx

Update.......TB tests came back negative. Next is a biopsy ....no date yet. Will keep you dear, kind people posted. xx

Not so sure about asking gods for help - none of them have been very pro-active recently. However, the medical profession has been and will continue to be and hopefully there will be an excellent outcome.

Many years back, I brought one of my younger children home from hospital from having tonsillectomy - so when her oldest sister ( 14 yrs old) said she had a lump I did not, at first, give her much credence - thinking she was just attention seeking.

When I did, there was a definite quite largish lump in her throat, and I can still remember, 35 years later, how my stomach churned when I saw this.

Same day to GP, who gave me a letter for hospital appointment. I drove to the hospital to make that appointment asap - six children in the car. In such a state, that I actually left and lost my purse with my entire weeks housekeeping money in it at reception!!!

Within a fortnight she was in hospital to have the lump removed and checked. It came back as totally non-malignant -sebbacious cyst!!!

We were told it could re-grow, but has not - to date. Hopefully CrazyH - your g.sons lump will turn out to be just as easy to sort out.

Still keeping your little grandson in my thoughts every night , CrazyH . Just wishing all this waiting and worrying could be over for you all.

Thankyou all ...Franbern, I hope my precious boy's lump also also turns out to be harmless.... poor little darling, he is having blood test after test, and every time his mum puts him in the car, he thinks he's going to hospital, even if she's only taking him shopping. As for me, every time he complains of any pain , in the leg or whatever, i keep thing, oh no, is that connected with the lump? I do hope they will remove it and biopsy it asap.

Hello, CrazyH, still praying every day for your wee grandson.

Our church is reopening tomorrow, for private prayer only at this time, Phase 2 in Scotland.

So I'll be able to pray for him, and for all your family who love him and worry about him, in the church, and have a candle lit too.
Hoping that this will bring a positive outcome and peace of mind.
