Nappies and pull-ups go on weight so just get his up to date weight and you will have the size you need. You can get Night time pull-ups if you get a lot of outpour overnight. You can also get swimming nappies if you are going swimming.

Used Aldi on GD when I was stuck with getting reusable sorted. Her parents went with Aldi pull ups when potty training kicked in. Much, much cheaper than the high end brand. If you do go fir disposable, don't buy a big pack until you know GS is okay with them just in case he develops a rash or anything. All nappies can cause an irritation.

Yes, memories of lidded buckets, Napisan, and a cauldron-sized jam-making pan (a jeelie pan as it was known in Glasgow) for boiling up the nappies.

My Mum heartily disapproved of my ‘new fangled’ automatic washing machine and the terrible disposable nappies when they came to babysit for a week in 80s. By the time we got back she was a complete convert! Just make sure you’ve got plenty of nappies in the right size AND NEVER GET NAPPY CREAM ON THE TAPE! ?

Ps swim nappies essential if going in a pool

I'd start him on "pull ups" at 2+ or Pampers/ age appropriate for him. Will be comfy for him and easy for you. Have a great time!!

Any irritation solved with zinc and castor oil creme from pharmacy .pure and works! I never used sudacrem or any of th other rubbish creams.mine all rash free!

I use zinc every nappy change and hes never had any irritation or nappy rash and always happy ? q

Pampers pull ups size 5. Pack of x4 wet wipes and nappy bags. This grandma no’s. A thing or 2. I have had 22 month old in and 3 year old in this size. Good fit, does not leak. Worth paying for better fit nappies with less clothes to wash. Have a great holiday.

I remember taking my daughter who was 6 months old and son when he was 3 on holiday both in terry nappies back then ,was a bit of a hassle with all that washing ?

Both my daughter & daughter in law used Aldi nappies as well as Aldi wipes.
Great value! Hard to believe anyone still uses Terry nappies ?‍♀️

Its easy using terry nappies at home
When you get into a routine,I never liked the idea of using disposable nappies due to land fill x

My nappy bucket is often full and with the combination of nappisan and a decent washing machine may nappies are whiter than white ??

Asda disposable nappies are also v good.

Little lamb's reusable nappies are the best. Bought them as a present for our new born GS. Requested by new mum(DiL) who has been using them throughout until no longer needed. They have been used at home, whilst on holiday and all sorts of travelling. Well worth the visit to website.

But I'm hoping I will have him potty trained by the summer time ,I reckon for home I will stick with terry nappies for him x

I don’t mean I wore nappies, my children did! With two babies just 13 months apart, washing the Terry nappies was hard work that I would leave at home!

?? I know what you.meant ,I had 2 in terry nappies for a while back then aswell ,baby girl and my son who was nearly 3 ,did seem that I was always changing Nappies and with 2 of them in terry nappies my washing line was always full x

Wow, someone must have won the lottery!!!

Looked to treat son for his birthday just now. Arrive after 4 on Friday and leave before 10 on Sunday, almost a thousand pounds. He will be 32. Last time we went he was about 4.

I found the Aldi ones really good when my GS was still in nappies. Pull ups are better for older toddlers I think. Good luck! x
