Acrylic Yarn

I'd just open more windows and doors for a few hours till the smell has gone. Also put the acrylic yarn project with burned edges out of the house as it will still smell - doesn't sound like a very good idea. Maybe a different kind of yarn would be better.

So I was doing a project using Acrylic Yarn. The edges were fraying so I burned them. I now have a burned smell in my house. My grandkids (10 & 11yrs) will be here in about 12 hours. Will it be safe for them. I opened a window for some fresh air. Just a little worried that's all.
