Izabella sorry to hear about your accident. I broke my wrist playing football with my GS in August. I just referee now.
Soup we were up there after our children were no longer interested in holidaying with us. We travelled up ro Glasgow then up to Greenock (Dad was stationed there in the war) over to Dunoon (loved it in the 60s) the using CalMac went to Bute, Kintyre we went to Tarbert and down to Campbell town. We used to do a lot of walking in those days. Weather glorious. People lovely. Stayed in b&bs or pubs. I love the West Coast, Gairloch Inverewe and the East Coast is glorious too driving along the coast in Caithness magnificent. Come day go day kind of holidays.

My car only gets filled about twice a year! This could possibly be due to the fact that my annual mileage is less than 1000miles. It's about 6 years old and has barely reached 7000

I've also been wondering about you, Izabella, that was quite some fall, hope there has been a lot of tlc available. Pleased you are better n&g, loved the cut for the boys bedroom, we tried something similar when our two were young, sadly its presence didn't put an end to their personal war zone. .

Hoping Georgie is getting more bladder control, jud, had to clear up after a visiting dog yesterday, must say it reminded me of one of the reasons we decided not to have a dog at the moment.

Mr C is out at a meeting this evening so I have the luxury of the place, and the computer, to myself. Had to go back to the dentist today, recalled so he could make some changes as prompted by the dental laboratory, bravery has returned as I managed without an injection. I think he was impressed after my jelly like appearance the week before. Still fretting about the car bump yesterday, I know, daft as a brush but its who I am. I got to thinking today how little consideration I would have given to it while I was working. Partly from a financial viewpoint but I think primarily because I have too much thinking time, I concluded I need to keep myself better occupied. All thoughts welcome.

soop of course Rory can tell which flavour he prefers. One of my dogs will turn down treats until he gets the one he wants.

Charleyg Since he returned from the vet, Rory has been very vocal. He yells for attention. He stands as close to his cupboard as he can. He waits for no man. MacSporran has taken to asking Rory...which of your favourite foods would you like? The two of them then have a ritual...MacS picks up a pouch and shows it to Rory. This goes on for a few minutes. All pouches contain different flavoured cat meals. All very posh. MacS thinks that he knows which variety Rory has chosen. Don't ask. All very worrisome.

Much talk, and lovely photos, of dogs. Over our married life, DH and I have had 8 dogs and I really miss the 'presence' of a dog but, we decided that we didn't want the tie of another one (and I quite like my garden nowadays!) so we just have the cat who is not as friendly as I'd like. We are, therefore on the lookout for a kitten (hopefully female ). We are lucky that our next door neighbour is happy to pop in twice a day and feed Kiwi for us.

Wondering how you're feeling today Izabella, hope you're managing to get about etc. When I broke a bone in my hand last year a friend lent me a plastic sleeve thingy to put over the plaster. It meant I could have a shower and wash my hair, it really was a life saver.
I'm enjoying a quiet couple of days before more family visitors later in the week, sometimes it feels a bit like I'm running a B and B!
But tonight we're off to the opera, La Boheme, part of our Christmas present one of our daughters, so a real treat.

That's a shame ann as I said maybe your DH would benefit from having a few doggy cuddles? Is he an animal lover or a tolerator? Grampy has through the years, tolerated a lot of our pets including a chinchilla that could poo like machine gun fire , a cockatiel that was vicious to everyone but him and several giant breed dogs. But Sam wormed his way into his heart and now it is obvious to whom Sam belongs and its not me !!

Very cold and frosty here today but at least the sun is shining. Tara spent the day lounging in bed yesterday and is now out and about.

Not a lot done, I had an early GP appointment and then the highlight of my day was filling my car with petrol. It appears to run on fresh air because I have not filled it up since before Christmas.

I do hope that Georgie is still bright eyed and not in too much pain. Sam and Grace and any other animal looking for cuddles is welcome here. My blood pressure may lower if I am stroking a dog for ages.

I've been to watch the Bolshoi ballet live from Moscow,at the cinema this afternoon. It was Swan Lake, the most amazing performance, loved it.
