None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.
Eat the delicious food.
Walk in the sunshine.
Jump in the ocean.
Say the truth that you're carrying in your heart like hidden treasure.
Be silly. Be kind. Be weird.
Theirs no time for anything else.

Thank you Cherrytree59, I spent yesterday reading poms by Winifred Emma May, and today I going to honour her memory.

Yesterday's steps you can't retrace, by slowing down or quickening pace, changing course or turning back - You still will be on the same old track. The only change worthwhile you'll find, will be the change of heart and mind - leading and directing you - on to wards that lovely view.

Keep to the rules and bear your load, along the rough and rutted road, on that wayside seat for awhile - gathering strength for that second mile. Keeping an eye on that distance height, that draws you on by day and night - walking tall and walking straight - the better world to create.

My grandpa often bought my Mum a Patience Strong poetry book. Not for Xmas but as a New Year present
I don't remember if there were any thoughts for the day in the books

I may even have one in the loft.
Need to take a look.

Winifred Emma May British poet 1907 to 1990.
As well as a writer she was also a composer with over 100 songs to her credit.
Some recorded by Gracie Fields,
Vera Lynn and Billy Fury no less!

So often people say "You'll look back on this and laugh."

Sometimes there are better things to do with your time

Motivated by ........

Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it.
The time will pass any way.

Sometimes there are simply too many repetitive adjectives and adverbs though.

I must remember that.....

Life is amazing. Then its awful. Then its amazing again.
In between the amazing and the awful its ordinary and mundane and routine.
Breath in the amazing, hold on through the awful, relax and exhale during the ordinary.
That's just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life.

And it's breathtakingly beautiful

You have to admire ITH's persistence ...

Note to self:

If something annoys me, but it is of little consequence, has no real impact on the quality of my life and I do not have to deal with it, I can simply avoid it.

This is for me .......

Life is beautiful but it isn't always easy.
I must learn to take the good with the bad, hang in there and always remember, tomorrow is a brand new day.
