What a Christmas! As some of you may well know I have an adult daughter disabled and with learning difficulties and to add to it all is now nearly blind. Lives on her own with the support of the most wonderful carers. Anyway to cut a long story short her vast amount of medication and insulin that is delivered was delivered on Christmas Eve ...and she was out so it was taken away and a note put through the door at 4.35 pm. The carers rang the number provided but they were surprise surprise closed. So no medication over the Christmas period. After two attempts medication was found and provided but it had cost a vast amount, several hundred pounds as she had to take a taxi for one visit, then pay the full price for the medication as there was no prescription and to top it it all was not not able to go out for her. Hristmas Dinner and so lost the money she had paid . I have spent today driving to her place and trying to sort out what happened. On to
Of all this she had a fall and took the carer down with her! I am now sat at home glad the day is over with a glass in my hand. My first hristmas home for many years.
