Morning Mick, morning all!

It's a lovely bright start in North Leicestershire. I might pot up some bedding plants before sitting down and watching that wedding. We then have Bertie and Persie overnight.

Good Morning Mick and everyone.

It is looking like another nice day here on the south coast, once the early mist clears. It could be a bit warmer though - still need a cardigan.

I am going to the hairdresser this morning, then watching the wedding on TV and this evening it is our choir concert. DH is escorting DGD1, to attend at her request. DD and DSiL are going to the theatre or they would be coming too. I think her 13-year old brother is having a sleep over at a friend's. Choirs don't seem to be his thing for some reason! confused

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs sunshine

Morning Mick Kitty Gaga and All to follow.

Beautiful day in South Bucks perfect for the wedding.☀️

I will be watching the Wedding on my own, as many other GN members will be, as DH is looking after DS and GSs for a day or too, but that’s fine. I will keep the celebratory meal I had planned for when DH returns.

Have a good day folks.

Good morning Mick and everyone . A beautiful bright sunny morning on the NE coast . It’s Saturday. Hurrah ? no work .
Just intending to potter in the garden, then a possible visit to the garden centre . Will be avoiding “you know what” like the plague . Enjoy your day everyone .

harrigran Sat 19-May-18 07:12:28

Good morning, lovely morning here too except I have just been rudely woken by seagulls with hobnail boots on the roof.
Nothing planned but may sit in the garden with newspaper later and enjoy the fresh air.

Marydoll Sat 19-May-18 07:25:27

Good morning all, cool but sunny sunshine here in Glasgow.
Catching up on the housework I didn't do yesterday after a very long day at the hospital.
Packing for our trip tomorrow to Edinburgh.
We will be treating ourselves to a champagne afternoon tea on the Flying Scotsman, travelling over the Forth rail Bridge. I am so excited! grin
Another wish scored off our bucket list. smile

Morning All. Bright and sunny in our corner of Somerset. Plan a rescue bid on a fuchsia which has just survived the winter but is currently swamped by poppies then there seems to be a wedding to watch. Maybe a sit in the garden later or a walk by the sea, not sure which. One son stayed overnight so best sort breakfast and send him in his way. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

DGCs arriving in a bit for the boys to go IFlying (indoor skydiving) at Milton Keynes so we shall miss the Royal shenanigans.????

Hi Mick and all. The sun is shining in Surrey. Just having a cup of tea in bed and then walking to the local shop for the papers then to DD2's house for breakfast ( just around the corner) and to settle down for what she calls the "Royal Fest" we will be watching from when the coverage starts. This afternoon we are joining with the neighbours for a street party except the men will all be sloping off at tea time to watch the football. Whatever made them choose the same day as the final to get married!!

ginny Sat 19-May-18 08:02:23

Good morning. Yes, as Maw says it is fine and sunny inN. Bucks.
Off to the garden centre with DD3 this morning. Weeding and planting this afternoon.
Couple of cakes to make later for a craft meeting tomorrow.

A very warm and sunny Good Morning to you all.

Indeed a beautiful day for the "big event" and I am sure already excitement is at fever pitch around the Castle.

Bedding plants duly out and looking the better for being planted.

News about my leg is very upsetting, still no sign of healing so elevation is very much in order..............fine this morning as like many others I shall NOT be budging from my chair in front of the T.V!!!!

Wishing you all a lovely day and weekend.

Morning All

And ..... its a beautiful morning in the north of Norfolk! The sun has won over the clouds - apart from a few. So we’re going for a drift in our little boat with DS and DGS this morning to make the most of it, and then off to a tea party for a friend’s 70th birthday this afternoon. A busy day.

jusnoneed Sat 19-May-18 10:08:47

Morning. Bright and warm already here in Dorset, lost the nice breeze we had yesterday. So it will be a day for staying inside for me.
Very quiet in the house as I cannot have my usual radio programmes on, everything seems to be taken over by ykw. And then it'll be football which OH will watch.
Me - I shall avoid both as much as possible lol.

Sorry to hear your husband is so poorly Aggie.
