Anyone ever had a dream and then it happened in real life?

Ok so I rarely remember dreams but 2 nights ago I dreamed I won the lottery! As I only do the lottery about once every few months I thought it strange but had one line anyway yesterday for fun. I had an email saying I had won a prize - first time to win anything. It was only a few pounds for 3 numbers so not life changing but seems a strange coincidence that I'd dreamed of winning.
Anyone else ever had a dream come true?

I tossed and turned one night thinking about a dear friend who had died after moving miles away from us . I kept thinking how I wished we had a memento from his house to remember him by. We went out shopping the next day came home to find a box in our hall of little ornaments with an note from a friend saying she was sorry it took so long for her to deliver this box but please take something in memory of our mutual friend. She had taken weeks to bring it round .

I married young - and the marriage only lasted 6years - but for the whole 6 years I kept dreaming of a man I'd never met. 5 years after I'd left I was working in an office and we got introduced to a new guy - omg it was him! I nearly fainted in shock. + Yes we ended up together!!

I told my best friend twice she was pregnant before she knew it herself.
My mum was very intuitive (witchy she called it)
She often knew who was calling and would answer the phone using their name!! She also knew she was going to die on that day. ?

I quite often dream of somebody I haven’t seen for quite a while then bump into them the next day , or should I say I used to before covid.

Don't think I've ever dreamt about something that has later happened, but often have 'feelings'. I sort of know things.

A few examples are that I thought my hairdresser was expecting a baby before she told me. I had a feeling that I put on my welly on and there was a mouse in it. When I went to put them on I turned them upside down, just in case - and a mouse fell out out one of them! Don't know who was the most surprised, the beautiful little field mouse or me! A friend was showing me round her new (rather old) house and as we walked up the stairs I had a funny feeling that someone was coming down the stairs. Months later she told me that their house appeared to be 'haunted'!

Hope I won't be burned at the stake ?

I had a very distressing dream about my daughter, in which, incidentally, I noticed she had had her ears pierced.
I felt sick with worry all the next day and so phoned her when I knew she would be home from work.
I didn't want to mention the trauma of the dream. She was happy and chatty so I just asked her casually if she had her ears pierced. There was a delay before she answered then she said in a tight voice "Why do you ask that?" I replied that I had noticed it in a dream.
She then told me that she had gone to a salon to have her ears pierced on the previous day but had grown increasingly nervous about the procedure and had hurried out when she was called forward.
I came to the conclusion that I had picked up on her fear in my dream and built it into something awful. Keeping of course, the earrings.

micky987 that plane crash would have been the Kegworth air disaster in 1989.
We know one of the police officers who was involved in the recovery operation.

I Would often dream that I was a Bride and turning up to an Arranged Marriage to someone called William, and just thought it was because it was my Dads name, I was Engaged to someone with an entirely Different name, and my Teenage crush had been for someone called Stephen.
My First Marriage failed after 10 years, and a Couple of years later my Cousin introduced me to a work Collegue, and we started Dating, His Name was William, and he had a son called Stephen. As in the Dream, l married him, and we are still together over 30 years later!

I gave birth to Gordon Ramsey's baby in a forest glade - then he bbq'd the placenta in front of TV cameras, talking his audience through the "recipe".
Hope that one never comes true in any way, shape or form!!!

I had a recurring dream I was going to see my mother in my childhood home, as I reached the front door it changed into a block of flats. Many years later she moved into that block of flats.

I used to dream the winner of important horse races, Gold Cup and Grand National for example. My boss at one time was very into the sport and always went to Cheltenham before he went one time he asked if I wanted to put a bet on,so gave the name I had dreamt of he laughed his head off but nevertheless put the bet on ,my horse won and the favourite his choice finished second. The same thing happened several times with the National, and I won against the odds.

I’ve also had many cases of gong somewhere I’ve never been and knowing I’ve been there before

I had the same dream over and over where myself and my 3 children were in the car and we had a crash and I couldn’t get my son out no matter how I tried I would wake up crying . The following year my son died from an unrelated cause. I think the dream was trying to prepare me

Sort of, my DD asked for a suede bomber jacket for her 17th birthday (30 yrs ago). A lot of her friends were 18 and some had cars. I dreamt one girl came to collect her in a white sporty car with red seats and on the way to a party she crashed the car and all 4 of them were killed. When I went to the morgue which was our village hall (weird I know) she had on the bomber jacket which I had told her she wasnt to wear! I woke up in tears and went to her wardrobe took the jacket she had had for 3 weeks and put it in the bin. One month later the same girl arrived at our door with a white sporty car with red seats. She did have an incident in the car where it went down a small banking but luckily there were no injuries. Although we had a huge argument at the time I binned her jacket I think she was secretly glad I did, I know I was.

Yes I had that very same dream the night before Lockerbie - it was very disturbing.

Have also had several deja vue episodes, one which involved the church where my (ex) husband was christened - he took me to see it when passing one day, and I said e had taken me before - but he hadn't! I described it perfectly to him before we got there - weird! Haven't had one for many years now ....

My Mom does but she says they are different to normal dreams. She has been right every time so far, still waiting for her to come up with the lottery numbers though!

i remember having premonitory dreams but cannot call any to mind (an age thing!), but last night i had one which i hope never comes true. the doorbell rang and when i answered it, donald trump was standing there.
the worrying thing is that i was not at all surprised by this visit even though i had not been expecting him. very weird, and totally scary!

MiniMoon

Not me but my husband. He has had prophetic dreams all his life. Towards the end of 2019 he kept telling me that a new disease was coming, and it was deadly. As soon as covid-19 was confirmed, he stopped having that dream.
He is having another nightmare now, same every night, it has something to do with a threat from space, he won't tell me the details!

Do you remember watching Top of the Form? One episode featured a school, team from Wales. They showed scenes from around the town. I could have shown you around as it was extremely familiar to me. I had never been to Wales.

There’s meant to be an asteroid passing by us on March 21

Do we all need to build shelters ?

I dreamt that a policeman was in my daughters flat going through a black handbag. The next morning the police came to tell me that she had died. Some time later whilst clearing out her flat I found the handbag I had seen in my dream.

The year before last I had to have my two gold rings cut off, as I couldn’t remove them, having tried everything possible. They’d belonged to my Grandmother and were very precious to me. I put them in a ring box until I was ready to have them repaired and placed them in a small drawer in the chest in the bedroom. A few weeks ago I thought I’d check on them, but couldn’t find them. We searched high & low, but to no avail. I was distraught and thought I must have lost them. Some nights later I had a vivid dream that they were in a different drawer, where I would never have thought to put them. I checked as soon as I woke up and there they were!

I had a particularly vivid dream where my dad who had been dead for several years, came to tell me that my Mum was going to join him. The next day my Mum died.

I don't know if this counts but I see stuff that is to come .My daughter has a boyfriend and I saw an image of who she would be with and two children. She is with this young man now but no children yet.I also told my sister that she would move to a certain road and described garden. She had just moved and said no way would she move again. It happened 20 years later after a terrible tragedy forced her to move. The list goes on,I'm not sure what this is but it doesn't trouble me.oh also I told my sister of a special little boy to come and now her daughter is pregnant with a boy .I do dream of stuff that comes true but it's usually not nice things.
