Any others still wash and dry dishes by hand?

I do. Roughly 45 years and counting, with no intentions on stopping. Have a modern day electric dishwasher, can't stand using it.

We do some breakfast bits by hand, but will mostly run the dishwasher twice a week. Mines 6 years old, but dries well and is very economical with water and electricity. We use more water hand washing. I do find you need to buy good dishwasher tablets for the best stain removal etc. But that’s the same hand washing, cheap washing up liquid is useless. We are 3 adults, and occasional kids/grandkids household.
