ShihtzuDad, I am a newbie though I spent a while browsing before saying anything, and though I am a woman I also can find it a bit intimidating at times, not to mention confusing.
Don’t worry 😉 we newbies should stick together.

For what it's worth, I'm another male addition to the site.

So I m sure over the years you ll find more males joining in but at the moment you’re a few pioneers

I hope so. I think there are a few grandads on here that have been around for a while but they are so outnumbered by the grandmas they might feel a bit intimidated!! 🤣

So, being in Dawlish, you're almost at the other end of the no. 11 bus route from us.

Is the 11 the Dawlish Warren to Torquay bus, or is that the 22. I can't remember. 🤔

The 22 used to be the bus that went through to Dawlish Warren but it has been reduced to running in Torbay and the 11 serves your neck of the woods.

I did notice that there is a forum called 'Grandad's Shed'. It is the least used of any of them, with 69 posts in almost 15 years!!

Hey I’m something of a newbie myself, did a bit of surfing the different forums and seeing how things work before posting. Am not a man but is good to have some variety.

Welcome! I have four grandchildren by my twin daughters (two each) - three boys and a,girl - ranging in age from 7 to 17. They are hard work at times, but are great fun and a pleasure to be with. We live close together in a suburb of London, so there is lots of mutual support.

Well, you beat me, hands down. I have just the one grandson who was just 5 on the last Saturday (27th). I do agree, they are fun, for sure!
