I have been away on a solos trip and the WhatsApp group is vary busy post holiday. It has been a month but yesterday there were 19 messages! Is it rude to leave the group?

Just mute them

Not at all if you don’t want to continue either leave quietly ( not being funny but they probably won’t notice) or leave a friendly thanks for the company everyone it was a great holiday and then disappear

I suppose it would be a good idea to stay in the group if you would consider going on a future trip with some of the same people, or staying friendly with them.

But if neither apply, then just leave the group.

A friend of a friend went on a Solo holiday and was contacted by one woman who invited herself to stay “ while in the area”
It was discovered she tried this on with several people in the group, it was a good way to get free accommodation throughout the year.
Just be in the group as much or as little as you want.
Just gradually taper it off if that is what you would like.

Blimey Usedtobeblonde, that is beyond cheeky! I hope your friends didn’t get sucked in.
