Electric Blanket-Risk

All sorted! Just rang the pacemaker clinic and they told me that an electric blanket was safe to use if you have a pacemaker fitted, just observe common sense rules! I.e. turn off before getting in bed! Makers put a warning on packaging just to cover their backs!!

Had another thought! I will call the pacemaker clinic at hospital where she has her check ups and see what they say....

Your local trading standards office often does electric blanket safety checks, so they should know about that, I would think.

I would only use an electric blanket to heat the bed before I got in it, and I would then unplug it.
