Teeth cleaning routine.

I find it hard to clean my teeth for the recommended 2 minutes and usually only manage one and a half minutes. I am impatient to get get on.

I clean my teeth 2 to 3 times a day, flossing and using those little brushes to stick between my teeth. However, I still find that they sometimes get a bit scummy behind my front lower teeth and then I have to start scraping and cleaning.

What teeth cleaning routine do you have ?

Also use (different!) interstitial brush to clean hearing aids.......just make sure don't mix them up (ughhhh!)

Discreetly, with a cocktail stick, hidden behind your other hand (the one not wielding the cocktail stick) is not yuk. Everybody did that in Thailand, at the table. Rice is terrible for getting stuck between teeth. Once picked out you swallow it, of course. Nothing yuk about it.

blush I have - used my little brushes at the table, I mean. Discreetly of course, very discreetly. (Hangs head in shame and whips brush out of mouth.)blush

I had a sonic toothbrush which paused every thirty seconds. Unfortunately I cannot find new heads for it anywhere, so have gone back to a manual one. I count up to thirty front and back, bottom and top and hope that suffices.

I too am an addict using brushes 3 sizes, plastic toothpicks called interdent I think, and flossing tape, plus a rather old metal thing from a manicure set to scrape off any yukky bits.

I felt mortified when the washing machine man handed me about 4 of the tooth picks which had made the machine rattle. shock

I use a disposable battery operated one, plus 'bottle' brushes. I used to use a sonic flossing thingy but the hygienist said it wasn't doing a very good job. blush

Electric toothbrush and little interdental brushes. I am constantly reminded of the Pam Ayres poem "I wish I had looked after my teeth" . x
