Thanks white wave. only know what needs to be said when thread gets going.

Oh you didn't explain in your original OP that you were experiencing pain. Yes as anasays certainly see your GP.

Good point ana. thanks

No, it isn't. If it was, all post-menopausal women would have huge bosoms. Some do, most don't, but do consult your GP.

A good support bra must be essential.

Thank you jane. 34k is VERY uncomfortable indeed. The weight is causing a great deal of pain for which I now need medication to manage.

I just wanted to know if the increase is typical.

whitewave Sat 13-Jun-15 20:32:29

Blimey I could think of a lot worse things to worry about!

janeainsworth Sat 13-Jun-15 20:27:46

Yes, I've gone from 36A to 36C, without gaining weight anywhere else.
34K sounds as though it would be very uncomfortable particularly if you do any kind of sport, and could put strain on your back.
I'd ask your GP for advice and possibly a referral.

That's an extreme method for losing weight!

shysal Sat 13-Jun-15 20:08:58

Breast reduction surgery is far more major than that for implants. You would have to take advice and think very carefully!

loopylou Sat 13-Jun-15 20:08:05

confused
This thread is an example of the art of speaking the b..... obvious isn't it?

Sorry if that's rude but honestly OP!

Ana Sat 13-Jun-15 20:07:26

Perhaps divorce is the answer, then? grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 13-Jun-15 20:04:56

Ditto to that Hilda. hmm

hildajenniJ Sat 13-Jun-15 19:59:29

Used to be 34B. Now I'm 36C. I know why my bust is bigger, it is in proportion to the rest of me!grin. It's because I have put on two stones in weight since I got married.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 13-Jun-15 19:59:27

Or go ahead and have a reduction. Your tits. No one else's. [shrug]

Ana Sat 13-Jun-15 19:56:19

Speak to your GP.

A lot of us get fatter after the menopause. A diet perhaps?

indigoteeshirt2 Sat 13-Jun-15 19:48:35

helpful responses please

harrigran Sat 13-Jun-15 19:43:59

No better to have a lobotomy.

indigoteeshirt2 Sat 13-Jun-15 19:39:02

Is the typical following menopause?

is it worth getting a reduction?
