annsixty I am so sorry to read what your GS has gone through and is still going through. I feel that my daughter is too young to be going through this but your DGS is so very young - it must be heartbreaking. Thankfully, there is more work being done on this condition now and medication being offered which, for some, is making a real difference.
I do hope he gets the help and understanding he needs and there is a chance of improvement for him, sending and all good wishes X

I am so pleased for you and your DD that she has finally had her claim passed. ME and CFS is so understood, my GS who is nearly 17 has had all the symptoms for 3 years now.He had osteomyelitis when he was 13 and after much misdiagnosis was in hospital for 18 days,5 general anaesthetics in 8 days and discharged in a wheelchair and on intravenous antibiotics for 8 weeks.He has has CFS ever since, now formally diagnosed, but his life is not what a teenager should be living.All best wishes to your D and admiration for working and trying to live a normal life.
