Does anyone else suffer from indigestion?

No Ana the fear of it is worse than the reality and it is over quite soon. Make sure you have the sedative for your peace of mind. The Dr who did mine told me what he had found, a hiatus hernia, whilst I was having a cup of tea but not sure if that is usual or not.

Polly, I am seeing an ENT consultant, so will hopefully have the right endoscopy.

Thanks for the reassurance, folks, I will certainly have sedation, although now of course I'm worrying what they'll find...

Of course you'll be worried, it's understandable. I've had problems for years, probably 20 or more, but I'm fine. It's good that you've been referred, so you can get a proper diagnosis and treatment. It's the waiting that's the worst part, both for the tests and the results. You will get through it though. flowers

Oh baby, I don't know what to say. You will be ok. It will come and it will go, and you will feel so good at having done it and got it out of the way. flowers

I find drinking a cup of ginger and lemon tea works well.
