I have been a type 2diabetic for nearly 16 years now and the best advice I can give anyone is to keep your carbs low, most carbs , I.E potatoes , bread , rice , pasta have a very hi GI sending sugars up . I tend to do a high fat low carb diet now and my blood sugars are on the good side.
