I'm very sorry to hear this ab, and have no idea what can be done other than what's already been mentioned. I really do understand how valuable these centres are.

Oh that's awful. I have a relative with mental health problems and the provision is woeful.

I hope you find a way to keep your centre open. flowers

Will do all I can to keep it open , just such a shock this morning - and I am the fund raiser !

I well know the problems around funding! Its a nightmare and sourcing it can turn into a full time job. I don't know about where you are but is there any record anywhere of funds left for 'good works'. Sometimes these were left years ago and the sums fairly small but many a mickle maks a muckle. They're usually administered by trustees. Form filling and trying to fit funding criteria can be a nightmare.
Given your client group might your local NHS give you some funding? Very time consuming again but maybe worth a try? Local MP might help. Local newspapers? Good luck! Don't despair.

There is funding out there Annie if you can find it. I volunteer for a local community centre which specifically caters for groups such as yours and they manage to keep it going with a mixture of national grants and local businesses. Any help I can give, please let me know.

What a shame, Annie. You must be very upset. flowers

Could you get sponsorship from any local businesses?

Just received phone call, the council can no longer help fund our drop in centre for those with mental health problems . Some of these lovely people are in such despair now, and I will have to close the door on them .

Sorry but I am so distressed
