Just had a go at this quiz on the BBC www.bbc.co.uk/guides/zg3hk7h

My body age is 10 years above my actual age!! Please tell me I'm not the only one grin

harrigran Sun 07-Aug-16 10:50:04

They knocked 7years off my real age which is nice to know considering I don't do exercise at present.

durhamjen Sun 07-Aug-16 10:19:48

You need to stop hopping, goose.

goose1964 Sun 07-Aug-16 09:40:58

I year younger, although my hops are in the state of someone 20 years older thanks to a congenital deformity ( but they didn't ask that)

Anniebach Sun 07-Aug-16 09:32:17

Think best I do it again Jen grin

durhamjen Sun 07-Aug-16 09:21:53

Sorry about that, Marydoll.

What have you been doing, Annie, chainsmoked since you were ten?

Anniebach Sun 07-Aug-16 08:36:42

Seems I am 34 years older

Marydoll Sun 07-Aug-16 00:06:03

I'm 10 years younger, 51 with a chronological age of 61. However, I have recently had my contract terminated on the grounds of permanent incapacity and and have been told my prognosis is poor. In other words, I probably am on my way out! Somebody has got it wrong, ha, ha!

durhamjen Sat 06-Aug-16 22:40:11

82 seems okay for me at the moment because I am younger than you, jingl. All my grandchildren will be in their 20s and 30s.
I may even be a great granny. That'll do.
Having had an aortic dissection, I know I am lucky to be alive now.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 22:24:29

Ana I'm not 100% sure why your post made me laugh. Something about being run over by a bus being bad for your heart? grin

Purpledaffodil Sat 06-Aug-16 22:19:16

Oh and he's the ultimate "Glass half empty" man too which seems significant.

Purpledaffodil Sat 06-Aug-16 22:17:57

Hurrah! I am 11 years younger! DH came out as 101 which he was cross about at 69 grin I think possibly because he smoked for 20+ years although has given up for the last ten.

stillaliveandkicking Sat 06-Aug-16 22:16:41

piggy... ha, ciggy. This apple mac will be the death of me let alone anything else!

Ana Sat 06-Aug-16 22:16:21

The heart one's rather pointless. Your heart may be fine until you're 90, but cancer or an RTA could finish you off well before then!

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 22:15:59

(that was to durhamjen)

stillaliveandkicking Sat 06-Aug-16 22:15:49

9 years older. well I am about a stone overweight, like a few drinks and a piggy. Not planning to change either grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 22:15:40

Well, you'd better stop if you want to pop your clogs at 82.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 22:13:41

82???!!! shock

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 22:12:57

God no! Far too young!

durhamjen Sat 06-Aug-16 22:11:42

The heart age one says I could have a heart attack or stroke when I'm 82. That'll do.

TriciaF Sat 06-Aug-16 22:04:09

There's a hand on the left photo - click on that.
I once took another test which predicted when we would die. Mine came out at 102 - I don't know if I want that, but we can't choose.
6 years younger on this one.

stillaliveandkicking Sat 06-Aug-16 21:43:15

Just clicked on the link.. Do you have to sign up to the BBC site to take it?

durhamjen Sat 06-Aug-16 21:42:27

I eat about ten a day, jingl, and I am ten years younger.

etheltbags1 Sat 06-Aug-16 21:24:48

just done mine and Im only 1 year behind my real age. Better than older I suppose

Lazigirl Sat 06-Aug-16 20:43:43

Try the "Heartage" test. I think it's more comprehensive.

GrandmaMoira Sat 06-Aug-16 20:43:19

It's interesting that pet owners are younger. I've had pets previously due to pressure from kids but I hate having them and it causes me a lot of stress. Being pet free is much less stressful for me which makes me younger, not older.
