I managed to injure my knee yesterday while we we out walking on the moors. I stepped onto what I thought was solid ground and my leg disappeared up to the knee in a bog and I twisted the whole thing. DH hauled me out and eventually I managed to stand on it. We were about two and a quarter miles from the car and there was nothing for it but to try and walk; it would have been harder going back, and further. I took some paracetamol and we managed, slowly, to get back to the car. I don't think it's bad enough to go to A&E because I can put weight on it. I have had ice on it and an elastic bandage since we got home and kept off it as much as possible. Anyone got any other advice? All the years we have been walking the moors and I have never had an accident. I'm usually so sure footed. I feel like an idiot.
