Many years ago I was told that I had the start of cataracts. In the last year or so my vision changed and I started to be able to read without glasses but was unable to see distance.
I had a cataract operation on my left eye almost two weeks ago and can now see distance wonderfully well but am unable to read with it even with quite strong reading glasses. I realise this may settle down a bit more.
Does anyone have experience of this? I am seeing the optician tomorrow who is planning to refer me to get the other eye done. At the moment I can manage without glasses as I do distance with my left eye and read with my right. Should I get the other eye done or leave it for now?
