Hi All

I am looking for some herbs that are good to manage cholesterol. I just came across an article (https://www.doctorshealthpress.com/heart-health-articles/high-cholesterol-articles/herbs-to-lower-cholesterol/.

I wanted to know if any of you have any ideas maybe something thats been used in your family or something.

I dont know about herbs, but i read on gransnet a couple of months ago that someones husband had been taking codliver oil and his Cholesterol had gone down
Might have been coincidence, but apparently his Dr was very pleased

my OH came off statins because of side effects ,he had a heart attack a few years ago. After some research into alternatives we came across Ubiquinol ,its the high absorption type of Co Q 10 .He's been taking it now for over 5 years and his cholesterol levels are very healthy and his GP is happy to recommend it to others who have had issues with statins .The side effects all stoped when he gave up on statins . I buy it from Amazon

It's not a herb but drinking 1 tbsp organic apple vinegar in 500ml water per day, as I do, is good too. I also take 1000mg cold liver oil in gelatine capsule per day.
