I went to the Doctors and got.....

A diagnosis of cervical spondylosis for the pain that I have in my neck, and told that the lumps on my fingers that I had thought were ganglions were actually something called Heberdens Nodes.

For both of the above read osteoarthritis. sad

I am only 59! shock Talk about all downhill from here.

Ah Phoenix - I love wot's description of her 'knee knobs' and I'm sure you'd feel better about your condition if you were just to refer to your Heberdens Nodes as 'finger knobs' - in fact I think I'd quite like a packet to go with my cup of tea! gringrin
Seriously, sounds a bit of a bummer, but look on the bright side; you're only 59!!! Some of us barely remember being that age.
