Here for the positivity! I'd have to say I get great pleasure in my 11am ritual of listening to radio four for an hour with a nice cuppa!

Firstly my children and grandchildren. After that tulips I've just had for Mothers Day. Something new to read, a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit or sometimes a glass of fizz. Cuddling cats. A room full of lit scented candles. Sitting outside in the first spring sun.

Getting in the car and driving to see a dear friend over long rolling country roads with woods and views on either side.
Being certain of a warm welcome and a long chat over coffee.

My husband's smile; spring flowers; the dawn chorus; my cat's purr

A nice clean bed.

All of the above especially my 3 DGS chuckles.

At the moment just happy to be enjoying an Aldi dark chocolate mini Magnum .?

Close family obviously. Getting a bargain as I love shopping.

Waking up in the morning and knowing I don't have to go to work. A G&T in the garden in summer. Self indulgence in any form, such a treat, now my days aren't governed by work and family demands. A bacon sandwich and a mug of tea.

Swimming more than my usual number of lengths, sewing a dead straight line when I'm making curtains (neither happen very often but they really make me happy when they do!).

Seeing a wren 'troglodyting' within two metres of where I was sitting waiting for a bus.

Waking up and realising it's Saturday and the box on the calendar is empty. Bliss.

Sunshine dogs and cats

Loved ones, especially the tinies who bring back that sense of wonder about the world. Dogs, Dogs and gardens oh yes and walking the dogs when it is not raining.

The reaction from my boss's dog when I put my boots on and reach for her lead! I wrote a blog about it on the work website.

I work from my converted garage and I love coming into the house to find it’s empty!
I love my husband to bits but I work with people and it’s just fabulous to be by myself for a little while.
I never do anything very exciting but can catch up on GN of course.

Today has been the first warmer, sunny day - it's lovely that the long, cold winter is finally ending.
