I'll be the first of many to say my grandchildren's smiles.

Yes Grandchildren's laughter and sunshine

Daffodils. Every spring they blossom no matter how dreadful the winter has been.

Grandchildren, certainly. Also when the sun dries the washing.

bird song, a glimpse of a white hermine, a wild mushroom on my path - wild flowers popping in the field- friends playing music for me... andof course, those amazing grandchildren <3

Apart from my DGC, I would say cooking the evening meal.

GC first of course....

.... but otherwise I love hanging out washing and watching it blow in the breeze. There is something deeply satisfying about it.

Always the foxes in the garden. But this morning it was my grandson texting me to say that he had been chosen to be in a photo shoot for his school website.

My grandson telling me that he loves me. The first snowdrop, baby swallows when they first fly! My nice clean sparkling bathroom when I've had a really good go at it!

My grandson otherwise there is just something about getting into fresh bedsheets that fills me with a sense of peace and calm.
